I wanted to get the word out that Ford of Kirkland and the leadership of Jim Walen has positioned our store in the perfect place in what Jim calls the perfect storm. His goal for January was to go out and purchased 1 million dollars worth of used vehicles so we would have what the Seattle, Kirkland Redmond, Issaquah, Woodinville, Bellevue, Lynnwood, Lake City, and Bothell market was looking for. Jim Walen and Eric Clark went to our local car auction and even flew out of the area to go to some of the other West coast Auctions. He went on line to several Bank Auctions to get a great mix of quality pre-owned and leased vehicles. We are now ready with the best selection on the east side of Trucks, SUV's, crossovers and sedans.

“Jim Farley, Ford's global marketing chief, said Wednesday that seasonally adjusted retail sales demand has held steady for the past four months. Meanwhile, the country's used car market has come "roaring back" since January.”
We have been ahead of this curve. That may be one of the biggest reasons Jim had put Ford of Kirkland at the top of the Washington Ford sales winning awards 4 years in a row and getting the #1 Ford volume award for 2008. We are looking forward to a great 2009.
